I received flowers from Mum's the Word florist yesterday. Firstly, the flowers are beautiful. The problem I had was that when they were delivered the delivery person slammed my door knocker three times before even gently knocking to see if anyone was home. I am recovering from a major surgery, and was sitting 10 feet away. My heart rate immediately shot up and I had a PTSD response. Walked into the store with a friendly smile and asked if they can do a corsage and boutonniere, but when I asked the person who was cashiering that was going to put in my order, a lady in the back rudely interrupted saying they have other orders that are currently taking up their service and denied us. Complete waste of time and if they could just have communicated it would've been easier for everyone.

I was very disappointed in my purchase of baby boy arrangement. It was underwhelming for the $100 I spent (which included on the fees). But in returning to website, I got what I ordered. It was 1/2in bigger than cheapest version and had more roses for $20 more. It looked cheap and unimpressive. I need to just stop ordering with online services.

This is a review from someone that has actually never purchased flowers from this establishment. I've gone into the shop twice to look for flowers and every time I have been treated rudely. I was told today when I stopped by that she had nothing prepared and all the flowers I was looking at were already for other people and that if I wanted some thing prepared she could do it but I would have to come back, which sounded like it inconvenienced her tremendously. Initially they were very nice to take my order. The arrangement was much smaller than the website made it seem. I did read the dimensions posted and those were not the same as the actual arrangement. I understand prices have gone up due to inflation but I expect a decent arrangement for $150, not something that looked like it only cost $50 at most. I will not be using this florist again sorry.

We had our wedding flowers done with Mums the Word Florist and while we were initially very excited to work with Maria (she had lots of great ideas and was intuitive with what my daughter wanted), the end result was disappointing at best. Nothing was as promised except some of the flowers for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. The bouquet for my daughter did not have the flowers in them that they were supposed to. August 6, 2021 Today is my birthday and my daughter ordered a purple orchid plant with balloons to be delivered today, she sent me a text msg. at approximately 5:00 pm asking if I received a delivery, I told her not that I was aware of but I would check. I had once purchased here and while working at St. Jude had had great success but recently I wanted to send flowers to a client. I did not wish to spend a fortune and said I wished to spend $50 dollars which to me sounds like a good amount, (this was not inclusive of delivery as delivery was additional).
