Not happy at all with Abandale Florist. I ordered a gorgeous "Violets and Butterflies Plant" for my mom for Mother's Day from Teleflora, which is a plant that should be able to live for years. I wanted it delivered Saturday, May 7. They delivered it today, May 8. The wrong date is not what I was upset about, though I would have appreciated a call or e-mail telling me it was going to be a day late. What I was upset about was what was delivered. Flowers were not as ordered. Many of the flowers were broke, handle on the basket was broke, arrangement mostly filler green, again NOT what I ordered or paid for. Spoke with owner who said she would call my Mom (the recipient) and make arrangements to resolve the issue by replacing the arrangement with what it should have been. My husband ordered through FTD for Mother's Day and what was delivered versus what was ordered was very pathetic. When I called to ask what happened, they said the bouquet was "similar". Three roses and four irises is nothing compared to the $63 Cottage Garden Bouquet that has dozens of flowers. Do not use this florist as they are clearly incompetent.

Overseas on my first military tour, it was very difficult going through all the holidays with my now ex-wife. It was tough being newly weds and the first year of being married is spent thousands of miles apart on other sides of the world. It was tough and we made it all the way to Valentines day. Received a Peace Lilly plant my out-of-state sister-in-law ordered. Pot was over filled with dirt and every time I watered the water would overflow and also dirt would come out of pot. Also, the plant is full of knats. I treated twice myself but couldn't get rid of them. The manager refused to do anything about it stating that her plants don't have bugs! WARNING: AVOID THIS FLORIST AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! KEY POINTS: Flowers did not at all match the Vera Wang arrangement shown on FTD.com, from whom Abandale Florist fulfilled this order, in terms of fullness, quality, colors, and even type! They used flowers of inferior quality which started to die only ONE DAY later! While FTD has a five-day freshness policy, Abandale Florist only has a 24-hour guarantee, which is no coincidence. I can't believe this place is still in business. Whether you use Telaflora or another 800#/online floral ordering method, you might still get stuck with Abandale. Telaflora was of no help nor was flowershopping.com whom I ordered the flowers through. They are all tied in together and each piece somehow gets their payoff. I don't think they really care about the service from a florist. Flowershopping.com is giving me a hard time about a refund.

My mother's xmas arrangement died 2 days after delivery! Tried to call to ask for a replacement, but mail box was full! I couldn't even leave a message. What poor customer service. Carnations that die in two days were obviously old and the mums didn't look very good this morning. Very poor quality.
