On 3/3 occasions this shop has delivered floral arrangements that bear no resemblance and are far inferior to what is purchased and as depicted in the photos. A house plant was delivered in place of an expensive vase arrangement, as one example. I just spoke with a friend who said the same thing happened to her with a very expensive funeral tribute - by guess who - Bethesda florist. So that's 4/4. Came in with my mother with pictures of my sisters bridal bouquet ready to place an order right away and buy some flowers in addition. Tracey, the owner, was extremely rude. At first he told us he didn't want our business and couldn't do the bouquet- then he changed his story and told us he could do it but we needed an appointment for next Tuesday and that the bridal bouqet needed to be circular and not cascade because it was not possible to have a cascade bouquet done there. Skip Bethesda Florist: On Thursday, May 10, 2018 I happened upon Bethesda Florist (noting the sign hanging from their awning re: Mother's Day arrangements) as I ran other errands. I have used Bethesda Florist twice. First time the flowers arrived, but were really sad quality, partially wilted, and they lasted maybe 2-3 days. I was unhappy with the quality for sure. Although, I decided to give them a try again (we all have bad days). I ordered the Mad Crush Bouquet. Which in the Picture had several roses lots of reds and dark pinks. They fulfilled a order I made thru Frederick Florist,,, paid 120.00 dollars,,, got what looked like a 20 dollar arrangement from Giant,,, very disappointed with both florist,,, Frederick florist for how they handled my complaint,,, Bethesda Florist for sending out a inferior product,,,,,,
Hate to do this but it's warranted. The owner Tracey is a stand up guy, and his staff are very polite and helpful. The flowers are TOP-NOTCH and last a good while. The problem is that they seem to be disorganized and have either missed my delivery or have forgotten it altogether 3 of the past 6 months. Charged $55 for two microscopically tiny flowers in a plastic box and a balloon. I can get a beautiful large bouquet on the street or supermarket for $10. Never again.
I notice that this flower shop received either 5 or 1 star. My guess is that the rating may depend upon the person who assisted you. Our experience echoes all the other 1 star reviews . RUDE RUDE RUDE- an extra special effort is made to make the customer feel wrong or stupid. Bottom line - if you would like a pleasant experience ordering flowers best to avoid this place
Horrible service. I ordered an arrangement on-line for Mother's Day. What was delivered was a joke. It looked nothing like what I'd selected and worse, it was 1/3 the size. I emailed and said I understand that they may have been low on flowers on that busy day and asked them to send a replacement with what I ordered. I got no response. A replacement was delivered 3 days later; and while it was a nice arrangement it did not resemble what I'd chosen in the slightest way.
