RUDE and they want to make an example out of you. I got a "2 free flower package" a few years back in return for hard work through telaflora. I ordered two different packages for two mothers on mother's day. One was in another state and it was exactly what I ordered. HOWEVER, one was in the Bethesda area and apparently they went through Bethesda Florists and I was HORRIFIED and embarrassed that my name was even written on the card. Very upset. My mother was ill and I ordered her flowers, I specifically asked for all light colored flowers: pink, yellow, peach, green and white. No bright colors and stated that I hated stargazers and I did not want any stargazers or anything that resembled them in the arrangement. They sent my mother bright purple, hot pink and white star gazers. I called and they said they would replace the arrangement. I thought the arrangement was prettier that they sent. NO STAR SERVICE- I sent my mother a Christmas Arrangement and they sent it to the wrong address - she never got her flowers until 3 days after Christmas - all flowers were dead!!! When we tried to get our money back, they refused to take responsibility - I have the card that was attached to the order and they have the wrong address. I lost $71.00 dollars!!! We had an awful experience with Bethesda Florist. It was a few years ago but it still makes me mad to think about it. It was for an occasion at a synagogue and they were supposed to deliver the flowers for the pulpit (the stage area) the night before. They had the nerve to come not only that morning of the event, but late - after the time the services had started. Terrible! I had my wedding flowers done here and it was a disaster! After the consultation, I waited for weeks to receive by email the contract with the list of flowers and prices, as well as the photo of the mock-up bouquet, which the owner had promised me. The paperwork and photos did not arrive and I called several times, always to be told that they would send them to me as soon as possible. Condescending and offensive. They had absolutely no interest in my business and consequently they didn't get it. This place must stay in business purely on fulfilling FTD orders because if it needed to rely on customer service it would be doomed. I might as well just copy and past the review of Stephanie P. I had the EXACT same experience with Bethesda Florist. Based on my experience, I would HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST USING BETHESDA FLORIST. I too ordered flowers from a third party vendor. The order was subsequently routed to Bethesda Florist. At the time, I was a graduate student in Chicago, and the flowers were for my girlfriend in Bethesda. Let's just say I joined Yelp to warn others about Bethesda Florist. I have never been so appalled by a flower arrangement when it has arrived at my home. I spent $90 for a Thanksgiving Day centerpiece that was supposed to be round and have a glass hurricane with a burgundy taper candle in the middle. Miss Parrish, this order was not placed at Bethesda Florist. As I explained the day of the delivery. This order was placed on the internet with a "Non Florist," who in turn takes your money and "Resends the order," back to a traditional florist after taking a a significant percentage of the order. We are sent the order from a third party and told to do the best available. In the future always place your order at a traditional florist and get just what you desired and at a better price. This happened a year ago in May and had I discovered yelp I would have posted it then. So... I placed an order for the Morning Sunrise Bouquet. I did not get to see it until later that night. I'm so sorry, but it looked nothing like what I thought I had ordered. Some of the flowers were beat up and wilted, the colors were off as was the glass base, and it was much smaller than it looked on the picture.
