This is the only time I've ever ordered flowers, and had any issues. First, I was told they'd be delivered by a certain time, not only did they not arrive at that time, but they lied on a note left claiming they tried to make delivery before they actually did. There was no phone call to either number provided during the attempted delivery. Horrible flowers they start to die within 24 hrs! This is what $150 got me! I can get a small arrangement at the grocery store for less.

I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother's Day on May 2 (over a week before Mother's Day). They were supposed to be delivered on the Saturday before, and she didn't get them. I figured they got backed up and were just delivering on Mother's Day. She still didn't receive them. I call on Monday and apparently their systems were down on the day I ordered and they had lost it. They apologized, offered a free delivery and upgrade. I was understanding and said ok. Flowers were already going bad when delivered. Roses had leaves falling off they were so old. I would not recommend this florist when there are so many good ones around. Talked to owner about problem and she refused to correct problem. So much for thier 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I ordered through 1-800 Flowers for my mom's birthday. They were same day and supposed to be delivered by 7:00pm. My mom was home all day and she never heard anyone come to the door. The florist (Melissa) called and said she had tried to deliver it but no one was home (around 4:30). I spoke to Melissa at about 5:30 and she told me that she was in Virginia Beach and not making deliveries anymore and couldn't come back to my mom's house in Suffolk. I didn't understand. Was told they would be delivered to my gf's work before 5. She told me she waited until 5 and had to leave and the driver still hadn't shown up. Person on the phone said that they made it there well before 5 but if so, why did she not receive them on time. I am not happy with their service and will probably not use them again. Next time I'm going to go with Norfolk florist!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, & ENERGY ON THIS FLORIST. I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother's Day - to delivered on Mother's Day. My mom did not receive anything on Mother's Day. When I called the florist they told me that they delivered it to the neighbor's house. Supposedly they had left a note on my mom's front door, but my mom said there was no note. The only reason this place gets one star is that it is not possible to put less on Yelp! My husband ordered a flower arrangement for me on Mother's Day through 1-800 flowers that was made by this florist. It turned out to be totally different from what he thought was getting me...and mostly made out of left overs from other arrangements and flowers that were already withered! Some of the "flowers" in the composition were just cuts of stems. Most of them were already browned. And they charged someone $80 for this...
