I was really impressed with my recent experience. I started from their website, and loved being able to pick an arrangement, and then see any upgrades to it, and what it would look like. I had put a comment in the webmail field, and got a very prompt response so that I was able to communicate directly with them on what I wanted created. Waltham florist is now under new management. Today I walked in and Darla graciously designed a beautiful arrangement while I waited. The price was right and the service excellent. The renovated store is crisp and clean.

I needed to order sympathy arrangements in an area I didn't know and called Waltham's Florist based on their reviews. They were very helpful guiding me through the different options available but ultimately I gave them a budget and told them to do what they do. WF did a beautiful job creating arrangements that clearly did not come from an FTD brochure. They even emailed me a delivery confirmation. I highly recommend them and won't hesitate to call if I ever need a florist in the area again.

Two things I hope for when dealing with any business, particularly one on the other side of the country: personal attention and professional service. Waltham's Florist offers both! I called at 8:30 this morning, San Francisco time (11:30 in Waltham), and asked if they could deliver flowers to my daughter's workplace by early afternoon. Yay! This place was awesome. I called at 1pm to ask for a basket arrangement for a baby boy that I had to pick up by 4. I had seen a few types on their website, but called and the woman on the phone was awesome. We figured out what I was looking to spend, and what type I wanted. She told me she was looking at her selection and would use snapdragons, iris', white lilies and white roses. 3 stars and a meh to go with it, listen here. so wifey's last day of work was friday, i thought id make a big whoopdiedo for the occasion and i really dont buy her flowers as much as i consider too. Clearly others have different experiences than I have. I placed an order providing all the information. Lisa calls my wife's phone and leaves message regarding the order. Way to go! You spoiled the surprise of getting the delivery. You would think that a professional florist could get their act together and know the difference between the person's information placing the order and the addressee. Would have loved to experience the great customer service others have spoken so highly of.

Disappointed. Ordered 4 hydrangea centerpieces for an event I hosted on a Saturday. Picked them up on a Thursday and was told I should refrigerate them until saturday. Not knowing much about flowers, I refrigerated them and they were dead by the next morning. So I panicked and rushed them into the store on Friday morning to be fixed. The hydrangeas, are totally fine in the fridge, you might have misunderstood the employee when communicating with them. Our hydrangeas stay in the fridge the whole time after we receive shipment. Disappointed two years in a row. Bought roses the day before Valentine's day and once again little or no selection and the quality was second rate. The employees were cheerful and apologized for the low inventory and lack of choices. The roses petals were peeling in less than an hour even though I got them home and into water quickly.
