We go to Schroeder's often. As devoted gardeners, we know there are a lot of greenhouses and nurseries in the area - we've been to all of them! But Schroeder's still has the best hanging baskets and floral arrangements for gifts. For Memorial Weekends we always go to Schroeder's for their geraniums for the cemetery. They last all summer! And the staff are extremely helpful!

Schroeder's had a much better price for delivery than any of the .com flower delivery services I encountered. I grew up in Green Bay, so I'm familiar with the business, but the 5-star worthy experience occurred after I had moved to Redwood City, CA. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother's place of work--they were to cheer her up after a death in the family, and it was important to me that they get to her. Superior customer service. I ordered online for a delivery to Bellin Hospital and my buddy had already been released. Schroeder's called me to follow-up on the delivery, which was out of their immediate service area, and flexed to make the delivery happen. Schroeder's could have just canceled my order. Instead Schroeder's delivered! Definitely earned repeat business from me just for this one simple courtesy.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Monday. They hadn't been delivered as of Wednesday, so I called Schroeder's and was told that the arrangement had not even been made yet. I was promised that it would be made and delivered that day. It's Thursday afternoon and has still not been delivered. I called the store and the man who answered was very rude, never apologized and said "it's a busy time of year." He then told me it had been delivered. I ordered a "Spring Has Sprung" arrangement online on May 7th to be delivered the Thursday before Mother's Day May 9th. I chose this arrangement because of the cute vase and look. The arrangement was not delivered until May 15th and was not the arrangement that I had ordered. When I called to Schroeder's to inquire about this, Karen basically told me that they were catching up from deliveries that could not be delivered on Mother's Day. No apology, nothing. i ordered flowers 3 weeks before an event to be told 1 week prior that they would be unable to deliver. after spending a weekend running around and outsourcing everything I needed, I reached back out to see if they would give me discount on my remaining order... nope sadly disappointed

This place has really gone down hill. Extremely rude staff, unwilling to help. I asked for help picking out flowers for an infant funeral and I was tossed a book and left in the corner. They have stuff for sale outside that's just broken and left in pieces all over and they're extremely overpriced. I don't mind spending extra money to shop local but when they're rude and don't care then it's not worth it. Super sad to see.
