I sent funeral flowers via 1-800-Flowers who used this local business to execute my order. I was embarrassed. I ordered the "Large" arrangement. No way would what was delivered be considered large. It bore little resemblance to the photo upon which I based my order. What a disappointment. What happened to pride in a good product? If unable to make good on an order, a business should notify the sender. I contacted 1-800 Flowers to arrange a refund. I won't be using them again.

Ordered flowers and candy for second anniversary. Order did not come with candy. When delivered at 8:00 AM. I called Devine Orchids who fullfilled the delivery, and was told I had to wait a day for the candy, the driver wasn't gone 10 minutes. Completely unsatisfactory. Not using FTD, and especially not using Devine Orchids again, they are a 20 minute drive away, and they can't fix what they messed up. Useless! Bad Service

I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement through 800 flowers. Actually I ordered 3 identical arrangements. Each was farmed to different florists in different parts of the area. Two were delivered exactly as ordered - same picture as on the 800-Flowers website. The one that was delivered by Devine Orchids to my wife was NOTHING like the picture. Unfortunately this is the third time I've had a bad experience with Devine Orchid. The owner is impossible to get in touch with, and what they advertise on their website is not true to what they send. Last Wednesday I ordered the deluxe bouquet flowers for my sister and was prompted with next day delivery at check out. The flowers came Friday and looked nothing like the picture. My daughter & husband ordered a beautiful floral display for me for Easter, it was supposed to be made of carnations, they paid a hefty $45.00, instead of delivering that flower arrangement this florist dropped off a $10-$15 peace lily in a 4" plastic pot. I contacted the owner who said she would get paid either way from the online company & was not interested in making the order right. For Valentine's Day I wanted to surprise my mom who is a nurse with flowers so I decided to try a florist In Hamden thinking hey it's in the area of her job same town. So I decided to give Devine orchid a try and I ordered flowers with a balloon which one balloon cost almost 10 dollars. My mom received the flowers and called me only to find out the balloon never came with her flowers. Very disappointed because I tried to do something special for her and this was my first time ordering with them big disappointment

My brother sends my flowers for my birthday every year and for the 8 years I have lived in Hamden, every bouquet was exquisite and lasted for nearly 2 weeks. He lives in Utah, so is at the mercy of FTD. Today I received an arrangement from Devine Orchids, which looked 2 weeks old already. Many of he flower petals were turning brown on the edges, the daisy petals were wilted and falling off the arrangement. Devine Orchid or Naugatuck Florist whatever you want to call them I've never been so embarrassed sending a floral arrangement to someone before I'm my life. Choose a piece off the website ordered it. Got a message saying they didn't have the vase can they send something similar, yea sure I say. The first picture is what I chose to send to a coworker from a few of us after knee surgery. I ordered an arrangement through 1800 Flowers and what I got did not match the pictures online at all. Sure, the flowers were the same type as the picture, but the arrangement was hastily done and almost none of the accent greens were present.
