I get all my flowers here and I am always pleased. Terrific arrangements and everyone there is very friendly. I also take advantage of free delivery in Hamden and Cheshire.
Devine Orchid Florist is simply that DEVINE. Terri the owner (and staff) worked patiently with me and my daughter for my daughters wedding for about a year to make sure our vision was brought to life. We wanted wow and boy did we get WOW. We could not be happier. The flowers were absolutely breath taking with ferry lights and BIG! I received flowers from my friend who sent them through an online floral order. I live in Berlin Connecticut, with many around where I live, and the flowers were sent from Connecticut, a good 40 minutes away. I was told that they tried to deliver them and I was not home, so they wanted to deliver the next day which they did. They left them on the front step and didn't even wait to see if I was home. Using a third party website, I ordered an array of purple flowers for my mother. What she received from Devine Orchids had almost nothing in common with the image on the website. When my mother called the florist, the florist was very rude to her, going so far as to say that I "didn't spend much money on the bouquet." Sending a cheap substitution in place of what was actually ordered is one thing. Telling the recipient that the person who bought them the flowers is cheap is a whole other level.
I purchased an arrangement for my sister in laws birthday. Not only did they come a day late, but the arrangement was not what I ordered and the balloon was deflated! When trying to call the company the woman who answered was rude and hung up! Save yourself the money and go elsewhere
My daughter ordered me flowers for Mother's Day, through 1-800-flowers, unfortunately they picked this florist. She paid a good amount of money for it. What I received did not look anything like the picture advertised and the quality was subpar at best, some flowers were even broken. She could've done better getting a cheap bouquet from the grocery store. Item was delivered two days late. When asked about the late delivery, Devine Orchid claimed it had been attempted on the date requested. However, the recipient was home the entire day of the requested delivery AND the day that it was delivered, the arrangement was left on their porch (so apparently it doesn't matter if the recipient is home or not). I ordered flowers for a friend a few months back. And she was supposed to receive them and didn't receive them till almost a week later even though I called each day and was told it would be delivered at least twice that week. They never called to tell me they were delivered. I only found out after calling them again! I would not order from here again as it didn't seem they appreciated my business.
I ordered online my order was supposed to be delivered yesterday as my friend told me no flowers showed up I contacted them there voice mail if full so I texted very disappointed on what I got not at all what I ordered the person said she would upgrade the flowers smh I could of went to the grocery store and did a better job for cheaper I did say she loves purple but what my friend received was nothing like the pic at all
