Did you ever work with Florist who, well, just got it? Who knew how to put the flowers in the vase so it didn't look like they were stuck in there by a 6 year old, who knew what colors work well with others and, most importantly, who listened to what you wanted and didn't want in the arrangement? With tax and delivery, I paid almost $200 for a funeral spray. I asked for an oval on an easel with flowers in blue, purple and pink. The employee said they would do a "designer's choice, and with those colors and size, it would be beautiful"). When I got to the mortuary, I assumed the flowers I saw were not from us. There were some blue ones, but mainly large, yellow gerbera daisies (which are not expensive--you can buy a large bundle at Costco for $15), and some yellow/orange small bachelor buttons. A few weeks back, my family ordered two arrangements for my grandmother's graveside service (totaling $150.00). We specifically requested funeral sprays with evergreens. We received two bouquets of various flowers (no greens) in upright glass vases. Not only were these arrangements/flowers inappropriate for the occasion, they were not worth what we were charged. Our family works in the church and we have some idea of what $150 worth of flowers looks like. Would not recommend Brown's for sacred occasions.

One star because you have to give something. Just ordered a funeral arrangement and paid $180.00. VERY disappointed with it. There were bigger nicer arrangements that cost less. They even charged extra for a little bigger card to fit the names. Won't use the again.

I've used Dahlias flowers for years, but they closed shop. Decided to give these folks a try because they had great reviews. Was told to let the designer do the choosing because it would "end up better" than what I had asked for, and then was given $120 of lots of greenery in a plain vase. It felt more like I was pushed through a line than got flowers that really reflect how I feel about my fiancé on Valentine's Day.

"We just lost track of your order". That's what I was told the day after the $100+ gift basket and balloons, didn't arrive on my Daughter-in-law's birthday. Really? I found another local florist who did a spectacular basket and balloon bouquet and delivered it, with apologies, in two hours. Farewell Brown Floral.

My husband orders through FTD and his orders are always sent to Brown Floral. And we always wish there was a way to get FTD to STOP sending his orders there because we are consistently disappointed with the large number of substitutions they do on the orders he makes, and also with the poor customer service. I want to focus specifically on Valentine's Day this year. I get a call from the delivery guy saying he's at my house but no one is answering so what do I want him to do.
