Great prices and ownership. The quality is great for the prices and the owner Larry is really accommodating even when it's not working hours. A great place to do business with both when Bob still owned it and now that Larry does.

I got the call that my mom was going to be in the hospital overnight. That's not great news when you live 700+ miles away. I instinctively ordered from Washington Square. The woman I talked to on the phone said that unfortunately they couldn't deliver the flowers that day (I ordered late in the afternoon) but she took the hospital room information as well as my parents' home address, and said either way they would make sure she got them. I often use them to send flowers to my local mom. Much higher quality than using online options. They really listen to what you want and are a nice family owned business.

Washington Square just created the most amazing wedding accents for my ceremony and bridal party. They created the flowers for the ceremony backdrop, the ceremony flower stands, and all the bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding party. I had so many people tell me how beautiful everything was. Washington Square was absolutely perfect in a pinch. Being in Washington for my sisters graduation from the college down the street, we realized we forgot flowers a half hour before the ceremony. I ran down the street to find a flower shop that was completely empty with the exception of the staff and a very welcoming labrador. The owner immediately welcomed me and happily showed me to the flower closet to pick out a beautiful bouquet. Washington Square really is as good as it gets. The staff is quick, extremely friendly and always focused on making the customer happy. They've been serving Washington for some 20 years now and I have always been extremely pleased with their work. They really are THE place to go for flowers in Washington and the outside areas!! You won't be disappointed!!

Ordered my step daughters bouquet for her prom 2 weeks prior to the event. Went there specifically to discuss and show pictures exactly what she wanted. Arrived the day of prom and was not what we wanted-- didn't match what she was wearing. After taking it home showed her and my wife, called them and said it needed to be changed- got attitude on the phone, but took it back.
