awesome service! and beautiful flowers
We recently had a memorial service for my mother who passed away on 3/5/14. There were many flowers sent by family and friends. ALL of the flowers from Vanessa's, including the large main bouquet that we ordered were stunning. They lasted at least a week from the date of the memorial. Based on the other flowers at the service (which were all beautiful), the ones from Vanessas stood out with brighter colors, fresher flowers and the appearance that a great deal of care went into the arrangements. Our family was so delighted in the arrangements we ordered for my dearest brothers funeral. Victor helped me on the phone and really listened to me explain the kind of guy my brother John was. An outdoorsman, kind and simple. Loving his family and his adoring his wife. The arrangements so described John. A wind chime in one arrangement and a brass stature of a bird hunter with his dog! Sent flowers to a friend's mother's funeral after reading a few positive reviews on yelp. I live in Florida and am not familiar with this shop, but am pleased to have picked the right one! Love the flowers and found them to be very helpful on the phone.
Best florist ever. We called from out of state for an arrangement to be delivered to a gravesite. Awesome service and awesome communications. Our go to florist for Michigan.
Used Vanessa's for the first time to put together a special arrangement for our anniversary. The arrangement was beautiful, and the service was perfect.

I have been very pleased with the arrangements I've received and given from Vanessa's. Prices are reasonable too. They are not afraid to use vibrant colored blooms (vs boring old pink or white). Agree with Liz W - I've also dropped in after work for a spur of the moment bouquet (for Ken), and they put together an amazing, may I even say 'manly', arrangement on the spot. The owner works well with local businesses too.
I've never posted a review on yelp but I absolutely adore this place and after another great experience today - I was compelled to share my thoughts. I am from out of town and I have used Vanessa's twice now to order flowers for my Mother who lives in the area. I used the website to order the first time, which was extremely easy to use, and today I called in for a last minute order.
