I am in Michigan, I needed flowers for a funeral back home, I called Hughes Florist, They were so nice, I ordered an arrangement called Peaceful White Lilies, I upgraded to the largest arrangment, my sister sent me a picture of the arrangement, Instead of the 6 white lilies I asked for..... it had 12, it was huge and gorgeous, Thank you Hughes for a beautiful arrangement, you will forever be my florist back home.

I'm from the DC area, but my grandmother passed away a couple of months ago and was laid to rest near her home in Portsmouth. I was put in charge of getting flowers for the viewing and the funeral, which was no easy task since my grandmother was a long-time member of various garden clubs and an avid gardener herself. I ordered celebratory flowers for my best friend who lives locally to the florist. I ordered a bouquet via their website before the day of delivery cutoff. I wasn't too surprised my flowers weren't delivered the same day, but I was sure they would be delivered the next. The OES wreath was delivered on time, however, it did not look very good. Colors were not vibrant, and flowers were small and sparce. It was not what we expected. We went through the service due to the time limitation, but none of us was satisfied. I've been an Eastern Star for over 35 years, and this was the worst I've ever seen. Do better.

Highly over priced isn't the word!!!! I left this establishment feeling completely scammed!!! When asked what kinda flowers I was looking for, I explained I was looking for a mix of flowers, but I mentioned ROSES specifically!! The representative then told me she could go to the back and "whip" something up for me, which I agreed to(what a huge a mistake), she returned and asked how much I was looking to spend(which was weird because if I tell you I'm looking for an assortment of flowers and I mention roses then I'd think ... read more

I use this business from time to time being that I am out of state. I will never ever use them again the arrangement this I ordered looked one way online it was nice and full but what they delivered lacked all of that. They showed very little concern over my dissatisfaction did't apologize for me mot being happy didn't offer to replace it or anything. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OWNER

Not at all impressed with the woman who answered the phone this morning. She desperately didn't want to take my order, saying that I was calling the wrong city in the wrong state. When I told her the second time that I was calling a florist in the zip code as the recipient, she sighed and said, "what do you want?"... At that point I decided that I should spend my money elsewhere. Customer service, or lack thereof, was awful.
