I really dropped the ball on my Mother-in-law's birthday and I wanted to get flowers delivered by the end of the day, but it was already lunch time. I remembered Mark Davis mentioning Dalton Flowers on his show, so I searched on Yelp and gave them a call. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to send, so I gave them my price range and the fact that my mother-in-law really likes those big lilies. They put together a bouquet and got it to her before EOD. She really liked it. They were easy to work with and went the extra mile.
Don't Do It!!! Ordered flowers to be delivered today and placed the order yesterday. They called me at 10:15 telling me they don't deliver to Grapevine, I needed them there today...she told me it would cost ALOT more (but didn't give me a price) to get another local florist to do it. I order flowers from here for many occasions, for others too, and this will be the last time I call them.
"Same day delivery." NOPE they rescheduled it for a day my girlfriend wasn't even at work so I called and rescheduled. They STILL didn't do the right delivery date so she wasn't there and ruined the whole surprise. This company is TRASH!!!
I ordered the highest level of quality and size of THIS BOUQUET of flowers as a gift for my mother's 80th Birthday. Let the pictures speak for themselves. We DEFINITELY DID NOT GET what we were promised. I wrote to them via email and called twice via phone to discuss this blatant rip off, and they never responded to my emails or phone calls. The particular arrangement I received from my Boyfriend yesterday was 60.00$ and not worth the money. The flowers arrived wilted and already turning brown. Clearly not what the picture online looked like. Disappointed.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Advertised delivery in 4 hours or less but never mentions anything about it having to be a certain boutique sent. Upon calling to make sure my order would be delivered in time was told I had to spend more if I wanted them delivered within 6 hours. Spent over 45 minutes on the phone with someone who didn't even technically work at the flower shop to fix the problem. Received flowers for birthday. All were cut so short they were tipping out of vase, receiving no consistent water. Some of the greenery was actually out in our parking lot. Called to speak to manager, who really was inconvenienced by my call. Flowers are overpriced and expensive; so when someone pays to send them, I'm sure they want the best possible delivery. Someone other than Dalton would be a wiser choice.
I recently ordered an arragement for my partners birthday even after I had a previous situation with Dalton's. My last arrangement was sent to a sick friend and looked nothing like the picture on the web site. I called Dalton's and they apologized, went and picked up the arrangement and substituted a better arrangement. Be advised that if you order flowers from Dalton's Flowers and the person who is supposed to be receiving the flowers isn't home, or can't get to the door right away, they (Dalton's Flowers) will simply drop off your property ("property" read: the flowers that belong to you) to whomever may happen to be home in your neighborhood. It doesn't matter if you don't know the people that receive your property, don't like the people that receive your property, have a restraining order barring contact with the people that receive you... read more
