I have ordered from Pomfret many times and always for my mother, who is in garden clubs and is very, very particular about the plants and flowers she keeps in her house. Pomfret not only takes very specific requests (and follows them) but they are just as rustic and/or unique and eclectic as a Boston area florist at twice or even three times the price (eg, Winston's). I reached out from 500 miles away with a request for flowers at my aunt's funeral. They listened and understood exactly what we were looking for. It was really beautiful and very appropriate. Thank you so much for being able to put our thoughts into such an amazing statement.

I have been a long time customer of Pomfrets. I would never go anywhere else. Freshest flowers (last forever), most creative arrangements and best prices. Don't waste your money with anyone else choose the best.

My MIL just sent me an updated photo of the arrangement, delivered 10 days ago. Since then she has only had to remove 3 yellow roses, but the remainder of the arrangement appears to be holding up beautifully. In fact, I think I prefer this version to the original that was delivered. Their longevity definitely bumps Pomfret up a notch. :)

I would give zero stars if possible. I went into the florist shop hoping to order flowers for my wedding and spoke with somebody there. They said that they would email my quote to me. I waited patiently for a while before trying to reach out knowing that they would be busy. I then started reaching out which resulted playing phone tag and leaving messages looking for my quote. I give minus zero stars if I could to this florist and the owner, David Pomfret. I have never used this florist before and ordered a flower arrangement for an ailing family friend. I received an email order conformation stating that the arrangement I ordered may not be the one delivered! I immediately emailed Pomfret Florist back stating, if the arrangement I ordered could not be deliver to please to not deliver anything and to please contact me. I recently ordered flowers for a friend through Pomfrets website. Picture on the left is what I thought I was purchasing. Picture on the right is what was delivered. I was not happy with this. I went to the store to speak to someone about it & they told me they didn't have the flowers on hand so they sent what they had available. If I'm ordering based on a picture that's what I expect, within reason. They offered a substitute arrangement closer to what I actually ordered & promised to deliver same day which they did. Congrats. You got me. Maybe i should post a picture of what was advertised vs what was delivered. I am pretty sure I could have pick them up in Stop and Shop for $15. This infuriates me because it happens too often. Description on lineon their page! Bursting with color and fun, pretty pink tulips, sun shiney alstroemerias, purple Astor's and "playful Easter eggs". 20$ for a small bouquet with no flowers of value whatsoever? Overpriced much? Went in to pick up some quick flowers, was asked what I wanted and what my budget was, some photos of work that they do would've been nice. Maybe they do awesome work for weddings or pre orders? I'll never know cause I won't be back, But I don't recommend going in to pick some fresh flowers up.
