One of the staff members decided to run their mouth about me without even knowing me because I had my fiancé return the $80 dollar flowers that I didn't like. I appreciated his gesture but I did not like the flowers and I didn't want him wasting his hard earned money on some flowers that would die within a week. She told him that he should break up with me because I was ungrateful. How childish must you be to assume that I didn't thank him for the flowers and to talk about a customer that way. Very unprofessional!

On Tuesday my companion was delighted to receive a bouquet of spring flowers sent to her by her daughter via Motley Florist. The person who delivered them was very pleasant, which earned the one star review. My partner is from Colombia. For those of you who don't know, when a local florist orders flowers, nine times out of ten they come from Colombia. Ordered Mother's Day flowers to be delivered on Friday or Saturday before Mother's Day and just spoke to my mother this morning on Mother's Day and she has not received flowers!

I understand being busy ... and having more business than you can handle. I understand a busy signal for 45+ minutes ... I do NOT understand disconnecting a call that rings through without even the courtesy of answering to say, "I'm sorry, we cannot help you with that as we are swamped. Please call us the next time you need flowers." Not once, but FOUR ( 4 ) times! You know, there are other florists in town who are not RUDE!! How in the world can you be that rude AND that busy?
