Misty's is a local shop, which I prefer. I have nothing against a national company where you can order flowers from anywhere to anywhere, but when I can - I prefer to do business with a small local shop like Misty's. This shop happens to be close to where my wife works so that comes in handy for occasions when a fella needs to order flowers to get out of the dog house or back into the house house or what have you. Misty's never tries to upsell me. They are courteous, efficient, and prompt.

I live out of state now, but use Misty's to send flowers to local family. I definitely prefer having a nicely arranged bouquet delivered, rather than a box filled with flowers that have to then be arranged by the recipient. Any time I've ordered something they didn't have in stock, I've been contacted promptly and was able to discuss a replacement. They've always been pleasant and accommodating. Last minute order for my mom three days before her birthday to arrive during Valentine's week. They didn't quite have what I wanted to order however we tried to make it work over the phone for next day delivery. My mom received her voluptious arrangement next day! Not quite what I ordered needless to say they made it work with what they had and what I asked for. Very beautiful. Thank you!

I went into the Abingdon location and personally ordered my daughter's graduation flowers a week ago. I showed a picture of the flowers that we wanted and was assured that they would be ready today at 10am. When I arrived today at 10am, they were not even started and they did not even know what flowers I wanted. Was met with the following excuses: well I didn't take your order, we've had a busy week, and when I talked to the lady that took my order, she said, I don't remember. I've given Misty's Florist multiple tries over the past few years but won't be doing it again. Previously I would order online and inevitably the display always looked significantly different than what I chose, with their promise to match closely clearly not happening. So this time I chose to call and ask if the floral arrangement I wanted could be created and was assured that yes, we have those flowers year-round. They did not deliver flowers to my mother on her 80th birthday because they were delivering to funerals all day. This is not acceptable. You cannot put funerals ahead of the living. I will never order from them again!

I was supposed to get flowers today, from my partner who is currently serving overseas. When he ordered my flowers, he requested an early morning delivery, was told that would be possible, and his credit card was charged. Long story short - it's 5 pm and no flowers. When he contacted them, they told him that my area was out of their delivery service (although they were given my address when he ordered) and that they gave this delivery to "another" florist. ordered two birthday arrangements. Teapot with mini roses were beautiful the day it arrived, the next day drooping and by the third dead. Second arrangement looked like they just took a handful of flowers and stuck them in the vase and tied a piece of ribbon that was too short to even make a bow. I contacted the florist and gave them a chance to redeem themselves. They sent a 3 rose arrangement and another handful of flowers stuck in a vase.
