I know nothing about choosing flowers, however, I brought my Pinterest pictures with me to my wedding appointment. Maria was honest about what would work and wouldn't. She was great with my family, and made sure everything was how I wanted it! I would drop in with concerns and was ALWAYS accommodated by the great staff. This review is long over due! My niece had just given birth on St Patrick's Day and I needed to send her flowers. I met with Maria and Dean, they were extremely helpful and made me a beautiful large green and white Floral basket. When they received it they immediately called me to thank us for such a wonderful gift. I highly recommend this Florist and look forward to using them again!
Maybe my expectations were too high but the bouquet I ordered was much less beautiful than the picture, a lot more white flowers than were pictured. Based on this I probably wouldn't use them again
Everyone and anyone please stay away from this place. What a bunch of scammer. Went to there website to order flowers and priced out a dozen roses to send. When the site indicated the delivery would not be on the same day, I called the shop. I spoke to the owner and he said he would take the order personally since it was local. DO NOT GO!!! A florist that does not make bouquets...I walked in there with some plastic flowers and asked them if they can wrap it up and make it look pretty for a photoshoot. And the reason it is plastic is because real flowers will wither and die really fast in this summer heat. My husband got me flowers for Valentine's Day. They were a rip off. They died in two days and he paid $50 for an arrangement of wild flowers with only two red roses wrapped in paper, not even a card nor vase. I had to use my own.
If I could give City Line Florist 10 stars, I would!!! City Line Florist is a family owned and run business. I worked primarily with Maria but got to meet other members of the staff as well. City Line florist did an amazing job for both of my daughters' recent weddings and I highly recommend them. Awful people!!! Inquired into flowers and they quoted me $4 more than another florist in New Hyde Park per flower! The person on the phone proceeded to scream and say get the flowers elsewhere and hang up the phone in my face!! Never use this place. No customer service and doesn't deserve business.
I normally NEVER do this, but I am so disgusted and repulsed by what just happened. My mother just went into this store to purchase flowers for my bridal shower tomorrow and the owner told her that she would not sell her the flowers (that she had) because we didn't place an order and that she might need them later.
