Very disappointed with the Valentine’s Day order that I placed for my wife the morning before the special day to be delivered to her work right up the road from this business. First time ordering from here and it will be my last. Of the three size choices; standard, deluxe, and premier, I chose deluxe. The base cost of the mixed bouquet was $69.99 without taxes or delivery fees. I added a single balloon at a cost of $5.99 and you have no options for what type or color of ballon that you want. I pulled in to The Flower Pot in Lillington and got the plants I needed to complete my garden boxes and flower pots. They walked me all around and made up my mind for me because I am terrible at deciding. I even found purple flowers for my purple obsessed grandmother! They have a gift shop and flowers in vases inside! When I left they gave me a packet of sunflower seeds to plant to support the Ukrainian people.
I have never experienced such rudeness from a business in my life and I've lived 71 years. My friend sent flowers to cheer me up after major surgery. The flowers were about half dead when I received them. These people could have cared less. My friend paid over 100 dollars for the very simple flowers. The response was "You're the ones that ordered these ugly flowers, gave us minimum creativity and room to make it look good and still have the audacity to complain". This review only pertains to the initial "place my order" experience. My daughter, just visited this established and did not have a pleasant experience. No warm greeting when she entered, and employee continued to write notes for a previous order while expecting my daughter to explain what she needed. My daughter's words were "She was very rude up until the point I paid money for my order." There's no telling what it will look like. And I really don't like paying for something sight unseen.
