I'm in tears driving away. Spent $125 on a tiny bouquet with tea roses that look dead on the outside. I held the bouquet in the store & felt so unhappy. When i asked for a refund ( i prepaid) they said no. The girl then started plucking out the dress petals & told me they come like that, it's the outer layer of the roses. My wonderful husband bought me 2 bouquets from this place. One on Feb 5 and the other, which are the roses attached, on Feb 14th. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the 1st one, which was a deluxe and very underwhelming. It cost 135 dollars and it looked like the 20.99 bouquet from stop and shop. It lasted 5 days and all the flowers petals were on the floor. The roses, pics attached, cost $334, yes $334. Within 2 days the roses started to droop and turn brown. Yes I added water regularly. I was going to be away for my wife’s birthday and wanted to send her a special arrangement. I am a regular customer so I knew they would do a great job. WOW! She was thrilled. Thanks for making her day.
They forgot to deliver ~$45 box of chocolates, ordered in addition to a nice bouquet, until reminded. Delivery done early afternoon when my aunt was home, but flowers were left on doorstep. Can't say for certain she didn't miss hearing the doorbell, but flowers weren't found until the next day by said aunt as a result. They had her phone number; surprised they didn't try to reach out prior to leaving bouquet outside. For +$200 total, can't say I am impressed. P.S. I've now seen what was delivered. Newtown Florist went above and beyond late on a Friday to deliver an absolutely gorgeous arrangement same day!! They are fantastic and I can’t recommend them highly enough for anyone needing their creative services in Newton, Southbury and Waterbury, etc. Thank you again!
