In the summer of 1993, I had an idea of opening a flower shop. My husband was not very supportive of the idea. He could not figure out why I would want to give up a good and very high paying job to go into the retail business. On Sweetest Day of that same year he walked into a local florist shop, waited 45 minutes in line, and was treated like an interruption rather than a customer.
